Kitchen & Pizzeria
In the kitchen, Sicilian classics made with what grows in our fields. In the pizzeria, the wood-fired oven lit every evening and a soft and durum wheat dough rested for 48 hours.

Since 2015, among the hills

We are a family with farming roots. We grow olives, almonds, artichokes and seasonal vegetables, and bring them to the table: in the kitchen, in the pizzeria, at your celebrations.
Our storyStarters, pasta and mains made with produce from our farm and the surrounding land. And pizzas of soft and durum wheat, risen for 48 hours and baked in the wood-fired oven.

Before the farm stay there was the land. Since 2012 we have grown olives for our own oil, almonds, artichokes and seasonal field vegetables: you will find them on your plate.
Visit the farmLe 5 Pietre is a restored country farmhouse a few minutes from Caltanissetta. Here is what it is like, before you even arrive.

You arrive in a wide paved square. This is where the five stones that surfaced during the restoration now stand: raised like prehistoric menhirs, one for each member of the family, and lit at night beside a long pool of water.

Inside the farmhouse, bright rooms that open into one another: intimate for a dinner for two, or all together for a large banquet. On the walls, Millet, Vermeer, Van Gogh.

On summer evenings dinner moves outside, under strings of lights, with the countryside all around and the cool of the evening. The favourite spot for summer parties.

Five rooms with private bathroom, underfloor heating and air conditioning. One, on the ground floor, is equipped for guests with reduced mobility.

All around lies the farm: rows of olives, almond trees, artichokes and vegetables. From the farmhouse you can see the land your food comes from.

The land is where we come from. The Le 5 Pietre farm was founded in 2012 and grows just a few steps from the farmhouse: what we harvest goes straight to the kitchen.

Caltanissetta lies in the heart of the island. From here you reach the Valley of the Temples in under an hour and the Villa Romana del Casale in just over; Palermo, Etna or Syracuse in about two hours. An easy base for exploring Sicily, with dinner in the countryside to come back to.
